Meet Ashley Crowley
Licensed Massage Therapist
Hi, I’m Ashley, a dedicated massage therapist passionate about helping people find relief, relaxation, and restoration. I specialize in therapeutic and medical massage, tailoring each session to your unique needs—whether you're dealing with chronic pain, recovering from an injury, or simply looking to unwind. My goal is to create a safe, healing space where your body (body, mind, and soul) can relax, recharge, and heal. Providing a skill set that meets the unique needs of my clients is a top priority. I am committed to developing proficiency in a wide range of modalities to offer the best possible care. Above all, I strive to create a safe and welcoming space for everyone who walks through my door.
I became a licensed massage therapist in 2010 after completing a 900-hour program at The Salter School. I hold dual licensure in both NH and MA and have continued to expand my education ever since.
I am a lifelong learner, continuously expanding my knowledge through various courses over the years. You can explore more about my training in the "Services" tab. In 2022, I began pursuing a bachelor's degree in American Sign Language at UNH. My goal is to make massage therapy more accessible to the deaf community.
Here are some fun facts about me! I'm a proud dog mom to four Great Danes—all named after characters from MASH*—and one Husky. I have a deep love for the outdoors and enjoy camping and hiking. Last year, my dogs and I began working on the NH48! I also have a passion for four-wheeling and ride a YFZ 450R. In high school, I attended a vocational program where I learned masonry!
Why Massage Therapy?
It can help with

Digestion
Massage can support digestion by stimulating the parasympathetic nervous system, which promotes the body's natural "rest and digest" response. Gentle abdominal massage encourages peristalsis, the wave-like muscle contractions that move food through the intestines, helping to relieve bloating and constipation. By reducing stress and tension, massage can also ease symptoms of digestive discomfort, such as those associated with irritable bowel syndrome (IBS). Additionally, improved circulation and lymphatic flow enhance nutrient absorption and waste elimination, contributing to overall gut health.
Fatigue
Massage can help alleviate fatigue by promoting relaxation, improving circulation, and reducing muscle tension. It enhances blood flow, delivering oxygen and nutrients to tired muscles while flushing out toxins that contribute to exhaustion. Massage also lowers cortisol levels and increases the production of serotonin and dopamine, helping to restore energy and improve overall well-being. By supporting better sleep quality and reducing stress, regular massage can be a powerful tool in combating both physical and mental fatigue.
Detoxification
Massage supports detoxification by stimulating the lymphatic system, which helps remove toxins and waste from the body. By improving circulation, massage enhances the delivery of oxygen and nutrients while promoting the elimination of metabolic byproducts. It also reduces fluid retention and encourages the body's natural detox processes through increased lymph flow. Additionally, massage helps release tension and stress, which can contribute to toxin buildup. Combined with proper hydration, regular massage can aid in maintaining a healthy and balanced system.

Women's Health
Massage can be highly beneficial for women's health by supporting hormonal balance, reducing stress, and alleviating symptoms of menstrual discomfort, pregnancy-related aches, and menopause. It helps improve circulation, which can ease cramps, reduce bloating, and promote overall reproductive health. Prenatal massage provides relief from back pain and swelling, while postpartum massage aids in recovery and emotional well-being. Additionally, massage supports better sleep, reduces anxiety, and enhances overall physical and emotional wellness, making it a valuable tool for women's health at every stage of life.
Weight Loss
Massage can support weight loss by improving circulation, boosting metabolism, and aiding in muscle recovery. It helps break down fatty deposits by stimulating lymphatic drainage, which removes toxins and excess fluids from the body. Massage also reduces stress and cortisol levels, which can help prevent stress-related weight gain. Additionally, by relieving muscle tension and promoting relaxation, massage can enhance post-workout recovery, making it easier to stay active and maintain a consistent fitness routine. While massage alone doesn’t cause weight loss, it can be a valuable complement to a healthy diet and exercise plan.
Stress
Massage is a powerful tool for reducing stress by promoting relaxation and balancing the body's nervous system. It helps lower cortisol levels, the hormone associated with stress, while increasing the production of serotonin and dopamine, which enhance mood and overall well-being. By relieving muscle tension and improving circulation, massage also helps ease physical symptoms of stress, such as headaches, tight shoulders, and fatigue. The calming effect of massage encourages mindfulness and deep breathing, providing a much-needed reset for both the body and mind.
